This would be a fantastic mouse, if not for the difficulty of cleaning the scroll ball on top. Not for use with small children and it wouldn't hurt to wash your hands before sitting down at the computer. I've had my iMac for about a year and in that time have had to use a needle to scrape out gunk from around the edge of the scrollball hole and have found rolling it upside down on a clean sheet of paper tends to keep it fairly clean, but Apple should have made it possible to remove the ball and clean around inside the recess without destroying the mouse. Apple also hasn't made this information readily available either. Finding out requires lengthy searches on their website forum, or visits to a local Apple store.
