My wife works from home and our Microsoft mouse was really on the fritz so it was time for a new one. Bought this, got it today in the mail, plugged in the USB and within 15 seconds (after the self install) was using it. Very smooth. Nice weight. I like the On/Off switch on the bottom just because I like to know I can shut it down if I want. I have normal sized hands for a man and the size of the mouse goes from the tips of my fingers to about an inch past the bottoms of my fingers into my palm. I don't like a huge mouse that takes up my whole hand so it's perfect for me. Could easily be used for a notebook especially with the low profile USB (really nice!!) Overall, I think it's perfect.
