I've had this camera a few years now and transported on road trips, to Europe, to Japan. I have dropped it probably half a dozen times and the bastard just won't die. A week ago I was hiking up a mountain in Japan and exhausted, I accidentally let the camera slip out of my hand. That means while the lens was extended it dropped from my height, six feet, down onto a rock, then kept smacking down the hill from rock to rock. When I picked it up it was badly scratched, the lens was a little malfunctioning, but it STILL worked.



Oh, and then at my hostel I accidentally dropped it from my bunk bed about 10 feet off the ground...and now the camera works perfectly again. This is the most immortal camera I have ever come into contact with.



Plus: great features, fits into pocket, large screen, etc etc.

Bough this camera on my beach vacation and all the buttons on the back stopped working the first time it was in the water. I took it back and exchanged it the same day. The first time the SECOND camera was in the water the same thing happened. Got my money back. I am not surprised Amazon no longer sells this, it is truly a hunk of junk. Though some reviews and the specs say that the mouse is usable while its charging, that is not the whole truth. The mouse does still broadcast a Bluetooth connection with the computer it has been paired with, it doesn't always move when you tell it too. I would not recommend trying to use it while it is charging. That said, its a good mouse, the batteries don't last as long as regular triple A's would but these are rechargeable so you don't need to buy new ones. The mouse stays connected while it's on and reconnects when it is turned back on. It will, however, drop the connection when there is some interference, occasionally, but not often. Overall, its a good, cheap, Bluetooth mouse.

I have owned this mouse for at least a year, it works great and is 1600dpi laser wireless. The wireless signal is very strong and works from at least 10 feet for me, I haven't needed to use it from longer distances than that so I cannot attest to further usage. I like this unit better than the rechargeable unit they introduced that costs more because I use rechargeable AA batteries and they last months with constant usage, no large power drain.

As to the mouse being too fast, as a previous reviewer stated...that is not my experience, you can change all that in control panel/mouse settings and customize for yourself to your little hearts content. Not a valid criticism of this mouse, it works perfectly, has good ergonomics, long battery life and is cheaply priced compared to other comparables and is as well made and constructed as any by Microsoft/Logitech.

I love the size of the Verbatim 96781 Nano Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse - Black, the low-profile dongle is quite nice, and the mouse works really well.



My only complaint is the lack of an off switch. Some reviewers have said that the mouse goes to sleep while they are using it, and others that it slumbers after about 10 minutes. I have never caught it napping. If it is sleeping, then it is doing so with its red optical eye open! When I wake up in the morning, the thing is still on.



As far as I can tell, you have to unplug the dongle from the computer and put it back into its storage compartment in the mouse if you want to turn it off. It is incredibly annoying, so I just leave it on all of the time. The battery life is actually pretty good, considering that I never turn it off. It is such a waste, though. I use rechargeables and have replaced the batteries in the mouse a couple of times over the last few months. I probably would not have had to replace them at all if it had been designed better.



I had to get a wireless mouse for my old desktop, but if you can do Bluetooth on your computer, I would recommend the Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 instead.

The first battery would only take a 75% to 85% charge. They agreed to send me a second battery. [The following is for Mac users: Their web site did not work when I tried to open their attachment in AOL Email using my MAC.]



They sent the first replacement battery by USPS, their first mistake. They gave me a USPS number and web site to track my order. When I checked, the USPS said they received a package. Days went by and nothing new from USPS.



I Emailed them and they agreed to send a second battery, sure enough they sent a second.





This is where the problem starts! When I first purchased the computer, (and on my SIX other laptops) the battery life indicator showed a life of 21/2 to 3 hours, when the battery was fully charged. When I charged their first battery the indicater showed 2 hrs 30 minutes. When I charged the second battery they sent, the best I could do was 1hr.



I contacted them and they gave the standard, run down and recharge. I had already done all of this and it had not worked.



IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THE FOLLOWING: To their CREDIT they agreed to REFUND my money. IT WAS MY CHOICE TO KEEP THE BATTERY.



WHY! They had been great. They had tried. Yes, they had used the US Post Office, but the US Post Office put my through college, working in the summer.



Second, the battery life indicater is sofeware driven. I do not have the knowledge to say that it was in fact the battery.



Third, I was tired of the whole XXXX mess!

My Mac battery died on my Macbook pro a few days ago. Suddenly I found myself looking for a replacement. I was hoping not to have to pay the $129 or so for an original replacement battery. I have used Lenmar batteries before in both a digital camera and a camcorder. Those batteries seemed as good or better than the originals. As the Macbook pro is expensive I did not want to chance using some unknown brand like you usually find on e-bay etc. I bought this Lenmar because I have read Lenmar is a REAL battery maker..not some fly by night company in China etc. (Though they may be made in China..what ISN'T? :))



Long story short the battery to my eyes looks about 99.9% same as original re: size, color. MAYBE just the tiniest bit smaller..by like a millimeter, but fits just fine, looks fine.



Most importantly, on my first use with this Lenmar battery it lasted 3.5 hours! That was a mix of stuff like looking at You Tube,various web sites, reading mail etc. I did not do anything too memory intensive. I DID also use the Mac to play JUST radio for a while (Pandora) so the screen may have been dark for about an hour which I assume would make the battery go a bit longer Still anything over 2.5 hours I'm real happy.



As to another review claiming the battery seems to run hot..may have even damaged his video card?? I think NOT! The battery was almost cool the whole 3.5 hours..the surrounding areas on the bottom of the Macbook were twice as warm as the battery itself. In other words...the Macbook's electronics may get a bit warm, hard drive etc..but 1000% as I checked four times, the Lenamr battery did NOT get very warm at all.



I am reviewing this battery after only one complete use. I can not say if it will last months, years..whatever..but my initial impression is it is every bit as good as the ORIGINAL if not better...

First of all, I purchased this item DIRECTLY FROM AMAZON (as opposed to a company using the Amazon site to sell their products). I just found it interesting that after installing the software, reebooting and then getting to the activation screen, I attempted to activate the software (claimed it couldn't find an internet connection) that my anti-virus REAL-TIME protection software caught a "HACKTOOL-ROOTKIT FILE".....file name listed as "FG.SYS" in my System folder. Ironically, I reinstalled the software....didnt do anything in regards to activation, and it didnt see any virus....the moment I tried to activate the software (through the internet), BINGO!! THERE'S THAT HACKER FILE AGAIN!!!! A little unnerving that a software designed to store personal log-in information and records would prompt a hacker tool to appear our of nowhere. Now I am not saying that it was part of the software, but you gotta admit, it'll make you wonder. Needless to say, the mouse itself is very very small compared to the norm, and really isn't any better than the cheap ones you can get for $10.

The only reason I got this was the 90° plug - and it was a good choice.



When you use a tablet PC, it's usually in portrait orientation, like reading a book. This mean the straight plug Lenovo provides is getting bent, putting it under a lot of stress. After about a year, my factory supplied power supply developed an intermittent connection. Fortunately, it was replaced under warranty, but the replacement has a straight plug too.



If you usually run on batteries, it may not a big issue; if you're usually plugged in, it IS a big deal!



Other than the plug, I've seen no difference between the two.



Some people say that a straight connector releases more easily than a 90° connector if the cable is accidentally pulled, but somehow I don't think either would release easily enough if someone tugged on the cable.

I have had my Logitch OPtical Mouse USB for about a month now and I am very pleased with it. My old one had gotten so unstable and jerky, that it took me awhile to get used to one that actually went where I wanted it. It has a nice shape and does well all the basic mouse functions. It also came with a PS2 adapter in case anyone needed that on a desktop computer.

Two problems prompted a return of this mouse.

1. very short connection proximity: the advert says it will connect up to 300 feet away. I found the mouse would not respond if it was further than 24 inches from the receiver essentially making it a "wired" mouse.

2. scroll wheel functionality: a very bumpy, irregular response which completely fails after a few short clicks. I could depress the scroll wheel to engage the up-down screen wipe but couldn't train myself to substitute this action for good scroll wheel accuracy in moving up and down a web page.



After numerous attempts to reconnect the mouse for better response, no luck, back in the box it goes.



The mouse does respond on 1 AA battery. Impressive. I installed 2 to try to improve distance response. No help. No software comes with it for customization but you can get most anything done with Window's Control Panel mouse control.

Typing on this keyboard now. KeyTronic keyboards are perhaps one of the most underrated keyboards there are. The key feel is perhaps the best balance between the IBM "bucking spring" keyboard, and the less tactile keyboards so common today. The KeyTronic is somewhere in the middle and I just love them. They typically last me through at least a couple of computer upgrades and provide flawless service in the meantime. And, being a closet gamer, the "WASD" keys get beat up pretty regularly...;-)



No reason to spend more than this on a keyboard as this is truly one of the best. Easy to give this one five stars.

This battery does not fit Dell Latitude D620 laptop. I'm about to return it and look for other options. It is impossible to slide the battery all the way in, hence, two hinges on the bottom of the laptop that fix it in place won't close.

Product does indeed hold its charge for a decent amount of time and the color matches my aluminum powerbook fairly well. The bottom of the battery I is plastic and its a very tight fit into the battery compartment and requires a little fidgeting to lock into place. I also noticed it slightly protrudes out of the right side of the laptop contrary to other reviews on this product.
