Just purchased this for $27 w/ free shipping from amazon. Not necessarily noteworthy but I always wish ppl would mention that when referring to the value they received. I've seen it for five bucks less recently, but I needed it now. After a week of use I can say confidently this mouse is perfect in every way for my needs. 1)The size is perfect for my average-sized male hands; large enough to prevent hand cramps but small enough to pack in the briefcase, 2)The design is very stylish without trying to dazzle, 3)It's fingerprint proof compared to a few of the other new Microsoft models, 4)The small on/off switch on the undercarriage is a fantastic feature to preserve the battery, 5)The tiny USB receiver for the mouse is such a no-brainer I can't figure out why anyone accepts it any other way; it's small enough that you can keep it plugged in while being transported, plus it stowes away nicely in the underside of the device with a convenient eject button, 6)The smooth-scrolling scroll button and quiet left and right click buttons are delightful, and finally 7)The Bluetrack technology provides very precise cursor movement on both flat hard surfaces and uneven soft surfaces such as the rounded cushioned arm of my recliner! Not sure if you can tell, but I'm very satisfied with this mouse that I did a good amount of research on.
